Have you accidentally deleted some of the input languages or you need to write a text message/email in a language which is not available in your Blackberry device? Here is how you can install additional or missing input languages on your device (Note: To follow this procedure, you must have a PC running Windows as the Operating System):

1 First of all you need to download and install the Blackberry Desktop Software which can be found in the following link (Current version v7.1.0):

2 Then you have to download and install the Blackberry Device Software which can be found in the following link (This is required because if you skip it you won’t be able to install any input languate):

http://us.blackberry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html

In this webpage you have to find your provider and download the appropriate application based on your device’s model number (i.e. Blackberry Curve 9300 smartphone).

Note: In order to let you download the application you may be asked to fulfill your personal information (i.e. first name, address, email etc).

3 Restart your computer and connect the blackberry device.

4 Then open the Blackberry Desktop Software and make sure that the device is recognized.

5 Finally go to the Applications tab where you will find the languages available for installation. From the list you may select which input languages you would like to use or not and click apply.
