Create a Windows 7 / 8 Bootable USB Drive with Mac – COMPLETE SOLUTION

Follow these simple steps in order to create a bootable USB drive from your MAC computer: Requirements: Windows 7/8 x64 iso (Note: x86 and Mixed iso files are not supported) At least 8GB USB memory stick Your MAC computer 1 On your MAC go to your Applications > Utilities and double click on the Boot Camp Assistant. 2 When Boot Camp Assistant loads, on the first screen click Continue and then select only the first option which says “Create a Windows 7 or later version install disk” and click Continue. If you do not see this option move to the next step, otherwise go to step 8. 3 Go to Applications > Utilities then right click on Boot Camp Assistant and select “Show Package Contents“. Then double click on the Contents folter. Locate the Info.plist file and make a copy of it in another location on your MAC. The car used for this guide is a VW GOLF 5 [MK5, V] GT (1.4L TSI Engine – 170bhp). Follow these simple steps in order to replace the FUEL Filter: VW GOLF 5 GT (1.4L TSI Engine – 170bhp). Fuel Filter is located under the car just forward of the right rear wheel. 1 Jack your car to the right rear wheel and locate the Fuel Filter. 2 Open the gas cap of the car, in order to relieve some of the pressure from the fuel system. By doing this, you will reduce the fuel splashing. 3 Three fuel lines where connected to the Fuel Filter. Two on the left and one on the right. Each fuel line has a clip on its edge. The two fuel lines on the left have their clips visible and easily accessible. Follow these simple steps in order to replace your Cabin’s Air Filter: VW GOLF 5 GT (1.4L TSI Engine – 170bhp). 1 The Cabin Air Filter is located inside the car underneath the glove box. 2 To get access to the Cabin’s Air Filter firstly you have to remove the 2 bolts which hold the part shown in the picture in place (this part looks like it is made of pressurized foam). Unscrew these bolts with your hands. No tools needed. Then try to pull down the foamy part starting from the back and move it accordingly in order to release. 3 The Cabin’s Air Filter is hidden inside this area. 4 Push the plastic cover which holds the Cabin’s Air Filter in place to the left to release. 5 Pull down the Cabin’s Air Filter. 6 Notice the difference between the NEW and the OLD Filters. 7 Put the plastic cover which holds the Cabin’s Air Filter in place...

Follow these simple steps in order to replace your engine’s Air Filter: VW GOLF 5 GT (1.4L TSI Engine – 170bhp). 1 The actual Air Filter is hidden inside the marked area. 2 Unscrew these 8 non removable bolts. Just unscrew these bolts and lift them up, don’t try to remove them completely. 3 Lift the top plastic cover in order reveal the Air Filter. 4 Remove the old Air Filter (Lift it up pull it outside the plastic holder). 5 See the difference between the NEW and the OLD Air Filters. 6 Install the new filter in the correct position where the old filter was removed. 7 Put the top plastic cover in its original place and screw the bolts back. How to create a bootable Windows DVD using Oscdimg

(Note: To follow this procedure, you must have a PC running Windows as the Operating System): You will need to use an additional Microsoft command-line tool, called Oscdimg. Oscdimg is a command-line tool for creating an image file (.iso) of a customized 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows. Read more about Oscdimg here. Steps to follow: 1 Create 3 folders into your C:\ drive (i.e. c:\windowsiso c:\windowsexe c:\windowsdvd). 2 Download oscdimg.zip and extract it into the c:\windows7exe folder created previously. 3 Now put the windows .iso which you have already downloaded into the c:\windowsiso folder. Then extract all files and folders of the .iso using a software such as winrar, ultraiso, imgburn
 etc. 4 When the extraction is finished, remove the .iso file from the c:\windowsiso folder. 5 Open a DOS Prompt and move into the folder c:\windowsexe and then enter the following command: oscdimg -n -m -bc:\windowsiso\boot\etfsboot.com c:\windowsiso c:\windowsdvd\windowsdvd.iso 6 Finally, burn on a DVD the newly created .iso which can be found in the c:\windowsdvd folder.
